Description:
Founded in 2004, VE has formed an effective team of international and national volunteers that have turned their passion and idealism into concrete and positive impact in the lives of 1,000 children. As the organization seeks to solidify its services and model so as to expand its mission within Latin America, we are seeking a strong, energetic, creative, and motivated leader to fulfill the role of Executive Director. The chosen candidate will have the exciting and challenging task of strengthening VE services in Santiago, coordinating a global network of volunteers and supporters to garner resources, and finally taking the organization to new levels within Chile and beyond.
As Executive Director you will work with all levels of Chilean society from its poorest populations to its wealthiest members as you guide your team and contribute to a brighter future for children in need. Your work will require you to lead an extremely diverse team of full-time volunteers in English and Spanish, motivating them even after they leave to continue their support of the children of Chile.
