We offer an exciting and affordable opportunity for native English speakers to live and teach in Bolivia. A wonderful chance to provide a service to the local community and practice and master Spanish with benefits! What better way to explore a new culture, while being compensated for your time and service' Positions are available for all subjects (primarily English), levels, and age groups. Average work hours are 15-25 hours/week. Our staff contacts and reviews the position before each placement and provides support to you prior to departure as well as local representation once abroad.
Highlights:
Schools are located right in the heart of beautiful La Paz. Curriculum prepared for six different levels for different English skills. Classes provided Monday to Friday for 8 weeks or 2 hours a day for 6 weeks. We are open from 7.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. There are classes for small children, young adults, adults and there are also specialized courses for professionals with a high level of English. Limited to 12 students per classroom. Textbooks and classroom materials provided.
Qualifications / Skills Needed:
Good command of the English language. Bachelor's degree, teacher's certificate, classroom experience and foreign language preferred but not the 'end all be all'. Responsible and flexible. Must be dedicated to full length of commitment. Capable of lesson planning and enjoy leading groups of people.
